Learning about Diigo in this class gave me a wider perspective of types of social media that exist. Diigo is a platform that enables you to share content with a group of professionals that are also looking for professional development resources. In my opinion, I think this is the right way of using social media because it is very productive and is feeding the development of many people through sharing. I enjoyed using the internet for sharing growth and development. PowerPoint goes very well with Bloom's Taxonomy. The first step is knowledge: PowerPoint was created to share and present knowledge with other people. The second one is comprehension, this tool is a facilitator to comprehend any information. Before this class, I had never used Twitter before. Not, it is the social media I enjoy the most. I like the intellectual and discussion aspect of it. I feel like other social media can be superficial while Twitter enables important discussions about interesting topics between users. My experience so far has been positive. I have interacted with my peers, shared my feelings and thoughts, and read really useful information by other accounts I follow. Now, my experience creating my own website surprised me. It was far more difficult than I thought. However, I am someone who is not very tech savvy. This assignment manages to give me some headaches, but finally, I did my best. I learned that you can use free resources as Weebly to create a webpage that represents you. I think that nowadays this is very important because it can be like your presentation card online.
