As for copyright, I did not have much exposure to it in school. However, I know that my teachers respected it. In class, all we used was textbooks, which were already copyrighted and our teachers would always demand us to write the sources we used in our homework or papers. In this sense, I guess they respected a lot of copyright.
As a teacher, I guess I would inform my students about their copyrights. I think that in this technological era is much more important for people to be aware of what are their creative rights. A lot of creators posts their art on social media without even knowing that they are giving away their rights to these big companies. Second of all, I would always cite any work I use to create content as a teacher. I think respecting other's work and creativity is very important.
There are many issues that come with technology. One of them is Cyberbullying, I think this one is very sneaky because as an adult you won't see it happening in front of you. I propose educating students about its consequences in others lives and how to respond if you are the one being attacked. Also urge them to talk, make them feel they are not alone. Another problem is Privacy, with this one I would also educate them. Let them know the dangers of posting everything online and how social media can be a window to their lives for people who don't have the best intentions. As for Academic Honesty, I think technology helps a lot here. I would require all my students to upload their work in software that lets me know the percentage of plagiarism.

Hi Maria Sofia! I think it is interesting that you used Microsoft Word to be creative and do something you enjoyed when you were young. I've never really had a passion for writing so most of the time I just used Word for papers and assignments in school. I think your ideas to combat cyberbullying, privacy, and academic honesty are very smart and would help with the issues in a classroom. Overall, I think you did a great job!
